abogado, ICAS nº 16.386

Background

I am a Spanish lawyer (abogado, ICAS nº 16.386) and a Spanish and British national. I lived and worked in the UK for fifteen years, so I know Spanish bureaucracy from the side my clients see it: unfamiliar, slow and written in a language that is not theirs.

My practice focuses on inheritances with assets in more than one country, residence in Spain and Spanish nationality. Around that I handle the property, family and document work that usually comes with them.

How I work

You deal with me directly, from the first message to the final filing. I explain the options in plain English, agree the scope and a fixed fee in pounds sterling in writing, and keep you informed at each step.

Many steps can be handled remotely under a power of attorney signed before a UK notary public. Where a procedure requires you to attend in person, I tell you in advance. I work from Spain, one hour ahead of the UK, and schedule calls on UK time.

Check my credentials

You can confirm my registration in the General Register of Lawyers of the Spanish Bar Council. I am also included in the FCDO’s list of English-speaking lawyers abroad for Spain; the FCDO publishes that list as a service and does not vouch for the lawyers on it.

What I do not do

I am not a solicitor and do not advise on UK law or tax. Where a matter also needs UK advice, I work with your solicitor or accountant, or recommend that you instruct one.

Start with a short description of your matter.

Tell me what you need. Within one business day you will receive a free initial assessment by email.
