Your right to cancel

Because you are buying from us at a distance, you have fourteen days to change your mind. This page says exactly how that works, including the part that costs you money.

The right

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving any reason. This applies to you as a consumer. It does not apply where you instruct us in the course of a business, including where a law firm instructs us on behalf of a client.

How to cancel

Tell us, in a clear statement, before the 14 days are up. Email [email protected], telephone 0330 684 5332, or write to us. You may use the form below but you do not have to; an email saying “I want to cancel” is enough.

To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the 14 days expire. We will acknowledge it the same working day.

What you get back

If we have not started, you get everything back. We refund within 14 days of being told, by the same method you paid.

If you asked us to start within the 14 days, you pay for what we did. This is the part worth reading twice. When you buy, we ask you to tick a box requesting that we begin work immediately — because in a Spanish matter with a six-month tax deadline, waiting two weeks is often the wrong thing to do. Ticking that box means that if you later cancel, you owe a proportionate amount for the work already done, and we refund the rest.

The amount is proportionate to what has actually been performed against the whole service, and we will show you the working. If you cancel before anything substantive has happened, that figure is usually nil.

If the service has been completed in full at your express request within the 14 days, and you acknowledged at the time that you would lose the right to cancel on completion, the right is lost. We will tell you when that point is coming.

Annual subscriptions

The annual Spanish tax return renews each year. You can stop it at any time, with no notice period and nothing to pay for future years, by telling us or through the payment portal link in your receipt. We write to you before each renewal, so a charge should never arrive unannounced.
